Easter Toddler

A few days ago my friend Francesca inspired me when she told me that she was thinking of doing an Easter photo session with her little boy. I thought that the idea was awesome and I instantly knew I wanted to do something similar with Catherine. I’m always a bit lazy when it comes to preparing the setting with lightings equipment etcetera but, afterwards, I’m aways super happy with the results. I love to have these kind of memories!

If you want to try this at home you surely can do it as it’s very easy! I threw a white sheet on the floor, closed the curtains to have a white backdrop and I also used some deco items so that Catherine had something to do and would stay in that area. If you choose a sunny day then you don’t need any special lights, however, if it’s cloudy (like yesterday) you might need some professional lights: I use two soft boxes that I purchased on Amazon for 60 euro so they are quite affordable.

Catherine had loads of fun: at the beginning she didn’t realise that the bunny was edible and I had to show her how to properly smash and eat it…oh well, children always require some degree of sacrifice 😉 She loved the chocolate and she wouldn’t stop eating it. Afterwards she had a very busy afternoon thanks to the sugar high.
