So, this year we were quite unprepared for Catherine’s birthday: we were supposed to be in Italy but we couldn’t go and it was too late to organise a proper party.
We did prepare a little surprise though: Charles picked her up early from school and I organised a little homemade party.
It wasn’t anything special but she was happy nonetheless: some decorations, a few presents, balloons and an unicorn cake made her day. She and Harvey had so much fun and they danced the night (or better the afternoon as at 8pm they were fast asleep) away.
Now we are eagerly waiting for my dad to get better so we can all join him and FINALLY celebrate properly together as per the tradion, with a lunch in our village restaurant, yummy food and piano songs.
