December will mark two years since we moved to London and into this house. I finally have finished decorating Catherine’s room and, although there is always room for improvement, I’m very happy with the result.
As you can see pink is still the dominant color but I’ve tried to soften it by using more subtle tones.
The focal point of the entire room is, no doubt, the beautiful Wild Flowers sticker from Rocky Mountain, it certainly gives the wow factor and Catherine was speechless when she first saw it.
Another beautiful piece, which I personally adore, is the Dreamy Macramé from Spinkie Baby: this handwoven piece is high quality and smells so good; It’s a unique piece and a such a gorgeous display.
To freshen up the look of the entire bedroom, I’ve changed the rug and picked another one from the Lorena Canals collection: this time we went for the Berber Vintage Nude one, which fits the room perfectly.
We are huge fans of Lorena Canalis rugs and have been using them since we were living in Switzerland: they are machine washable which makes all the difference in a house with tiny people; plus they are top quality! We couldn’t be happier with them.
Finally we added some fairy lights from Cable and Cottons to add to that magical touch and we put some gold dot stickers on her chest of drawers to complete the whole room.
Catherine absolutely loves her room and when she saw the result she kept saying to me: “thank you mum for this beautiful room” she truly know hows to melt my heart.
