Pastel tones for spring

Spring tricked us all in February, making us believe it had arrived: the cherry trees started to blossom and the temperature rose to pleasant peaks of 20 degrees. What a dream that was but yes, just a short lived dream because March brought winds, gail, and rain. Basically misery; ah and let’s not forget the worse flu I ever had which lasted a whole week.

Well hopefully that was it for the winter of 2019, I’ve stored my winter clothes, replaced my wardrobe with pastel tones, tidied up the house in true “Marie Kondo style” and I’m now officially ready for spring.

In spring and summer I basically live in dresses trainers: I found dresses so comfortable and so true to my style. It’s no secret that Ted Baker has always been my favorite designer when it comes to dresses and I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to be partnering with them to show you some pieces of their new spring collection.

When scrolling their website I fell in love with the floral ELIANAH applique skater dress: classy, easy and chic. Perfect from day to night and so appropriate for the spring season.

I’ve decide to “dress it down” with the ASTRINA ruffle detail trainers and I think this combination is perfect. Elegant yet super comfy which, for me, is a must. I hate going out feeling uncomfortable, I don’t want to compromise my comfort in order to look stylish. Well, no compromise was made here: I can walk around London’s busy streets for hours with this outfit, at ease and wearing something suitable for any place I decide to go on a casual day out.

My JANNE bow detail zipped leather tote bag gives a lovely “touch of color” to the whole look. It’s so pretty and feminine and comes with a strap so that you can wear it across your shoulder which is a must if you are a mum who’s running after wild kids.

If the weather is cooler, or you want to go for a more casual look, the next outfit is spot on for that.

I’ve paired the NANSEA floral collar mockable jumper with a pair of jeans, my ruffle trainers and my beloved pink bag: this combo is what I call pastel perfection and I’m completely taken! What is your favorite look?
