I’m really looking forward to spring: the cherry trees blossoming, the warm breeze, cosy picnics and flowers, flowers everywhere!

January and February are so boring and dull and the spring still seems miles away; but do not fear! I have a little treat to share with you all: a quick recipe to bring a touch of pink into a grey day. Ever thought of a pink hot chocolate? If the idea sounds interesting then read along; I promise it’s super easy!

Ingredients for 2:

  • 4 cups of milk
  • 2 cups of white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • pink food colouring (you can also use the red one if you can’t find pink)
  • whipped cream and sprinkles for decoration


Place the milk and chocolate chips in a saucepan. Stir everything on low heat until all the chocolate has melted. Add the vanilla and the food colouring until you reach the desired shade of pink. Pour into a fancy cup Pour into a fancy clear cup and go wild wth the decorations: you need to beet that January blues after all!!
