Living in London is so much fun as there is always something new to do and to see but, often, we forget to slow down and enjoy what’s around the corner. A brunch at Megan’s was on my list for a long time: it looked so pretty from the outside and it’s conveniently located for an early Sunday brunch.
Located on King’s Road, a stone throw from Chelsea, this place is very popular during the weekend and it doesn’t come as a surprise. The interior is dreamy and Megan’s is a romantic retreat that reminds me of a Mediterranean holiday.
The upper level is bright and airy: enchanted floral walls, mouth watering cakes and patisserie displays are greeting you together with a smile from the friendliest staff.
Their heated garden has a bit of a chalet feeling combined with Mediterranean vibes: an interesting combo but one that undoubtedly works perfectly here. The garden is open all year-round which makes it an easy spot to take shelter from a frosty winter day but it’s also perfect for al fresco dining during the warmest months: a win win really.
I tried the porridge with banana, demerara sugar & omega seeds which was divine while Charles had the Megan’s breakfast featuring a generous portion of eggs, sausage, bacon, shakshouka, mushrooms and toast; it looked so yummy but he didn’t want to share!
After breakfast we went for a walk through the crunchy leaves in our familiar neighbourhood: a very chilled morning for all of us.

If you are in for something more than that then I recommend you to walk along New King’s Road all the way to Sloane Square, it’s a long one (around 30 minutes not considering the shop pitstops that you’ll probably want to do) but it’s lovely: full of nice cafes and shops; you won’t regret it!
