Wisteria season has arrived!! London is oh so beautiful with its lilac facades at the moment and all the Instagrammers in the city are in full swing browsing around to get some picturesque shots. Wisteria is blossoming only for a little while but do not worry, even when the last bloom has fallen, there will always be a place where you can head to get your wisteria fix. Even better, you can get that and a unicorn latte or pink chocolate.
The Saint Aymes cafe is one of the most popular in London at the moment and it’s surely a place that you want to add to you “to go list” however, be prepared, it’s blogger heaven so you’ll probably find some girls with suitcases (like myself) taking pictures ahah.
On their menu you’ll find things such as 24ct Gold Unicorn Latte, 24ct Gold Gourmet Hot Chocolate or cappuccino and YES with real gold, pastel macaroons, beautiful cakes, the best in terms of tea blends and so much more. You should go as soon as they open and avoid weekends as it gets quite busy down there.
If you are going and you want some pictures “for the gram” then a twirling dress is the perfect outfit for this romantic place. The staff is very used to bloggers, they are very helpful and they won’t be surprised if you take few shots.
I’ve chosen a very girlie dress from Marie Zélie a Polish brand that creates gorgeous dresses that really fit into my personal style.
This dress is airy, comfortable and the material is rich; this combined with its mid sleeve makes it perfect for London where short sleeves are rarely used. You know, we don’t have a proper summer here and this spring has been quite brutal, so much so that I might start to consider moving somewhere warmer ahah. I really wonder how it would be to have a lovely summer all year around!
Ok, back to reality.
I have combined the dress with some mid heel sandals and a pink leather biker jacket, just to make sure I wasn’t going to freeze. 😉
The St. Aymes cafe has been created by sisters Michela and Lois Wilson and they’ve surely done an amazing job.
You can find the St. Aymes in the Connaught Village, quite close to Hyde Park so you know where to head to for a walk afterwards!
